Novelty 2024: The PIKO model of the TGK2 Kaluga in the Bundeswehr version in Era V corresponds exactly to its chosen prototype in all characteristic details. The small locomotive is characterised by excellent low-speed running characteristics in the shunting area and can therefore be used perfectly on the model railway, for example on industrial sidings. With its die-cast zinc frame, the detailed and robust model has sufficient tractive forces for realistically long model railway trains, a clear view through the drivers cab, drivers cab lighting, specially attached free-standing door handles and hand grips and a digitally switchable white/red LED light change depending on the direction of travel. Thanks to the integrated Next18 interface, a digital decoder can be retrofitted in next to no time. The model has TT close couplers!
