GER: G Gedeckter Güterwagen FDJ DR III

Novelty Fall 2026: At Whitsun 1950, hundreds of thousands of young people set off for the first Germany-wide FDJ youth gathering in East Berlin under the motto “Blue Flags to Berlin”. As the available passenger coaches were insufficient, the Deutsche Reichsbahn used numerous special trains consisting of provisionally refurbished freight wagons. This model captures this distinctive era with authentic “(-DR) UdSSR-Zone” lettering and is based on the appearance of the original vehicles at the time. The wood-look side walls, sharply defined printing and opening door ensure an authentic reproduction.
