GER: Dampflok TKt48 PKP IV + DSS PluX22

Novelty 2026: The tank locomotives of the TKt48 series of the Polish State Railways (PKP) were an important part of passenger and freight traffic on the mid-mountain routes of the Giant Mountains and the High Tatras between the 1950s and 1980s. The locomotives were built from 1950 to 1957 in the factories of Fablok and Cegielski, of which 191 units were delivered to the PKP. Thanks to their high adhesive weight, the series became a true universal locomotive in the mountains, which, with its top speed of 80 km/h in both directions, revolutionized operations on branch lines. Due to the decline in traffic and the closure of many branch lines, the locomotives lost their area of operation and were retired and scrapped by 1989. Fortunately, over a dozen machines were preserved and can still be admired as museum and monument locomotives.
