Novelty Fall 2026: The Class 111 electric locomotive in its classic ocean blue and beige livery represents the typical appearance of the Deutsche Bundesbahn in Era IV. The PIKO model faithfully reproduces the characteristic details of the prototype, such as the lamps, windows, buffers, sockets and engine room equipment. As a special detail, the locomotive features the “150 Years of German Railways” emblem, as seen on numerous Deutsche Bundesbahn locomotives in 1985.
