Novelty 2025: The Rh 1216 series of electric locomotives, also known as Taurus III, are multi-system three-phase AC locomotives with universal usability across national and electrical system boundaries and are particularly suitable for fast and heavy trains. Developed, designed and manufactured by Siemens as the ES64U4 and presented for the first time in 2005, the locomotives have been in service with ÖBB and smaller railway companies in Austria, Slovenia and Germany since 2006.
